My name is Andrew Gula and I tell stories. A lot. Every day, actually, because writing is my oldest hobby as well as my full-time job.
Of course, those two roles are pretty different. Writing articles about personal finance is very different from telling stories in fantastical worlds. But as one of my favorite authors once said:
“Writing is life — breathe deeply of it.”
I started writing when I was 10 years old, and I can’t imagine stopping. (Thankfully I grew out of my cringeworthy fanfiction phase, however.) These days, my creative energies take two forms: novels, which you can check out here, and short stories, which I don’t publish yet but blog about every week.
In fact, you’ll find snippets of just about everything here: Life updates, game and book reviews, even a few interviews. And of course lots of posts about worldbuilding and my creative process.
This site is a space to publish my thoughts, but it’s also a watercooler where I get to interact with people who share my interests and maybe even my opinions. (Neither of those things are a requirement, by the way.)
